Report Liaison (H/F)

The Company is seeking an innovative, experienced and results - oriented Report Liaison (H/F). The outlined position is situated within the Global Report Center Team which support worldwide the needs of Marketing insight of our Client with advanced Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions.

The role of the Report Liaison is to contribute to the implementation of reporting and analysis solutions translating Client brief in a structured design of a solution that our development Team can execute. These include reporting, business application using Nielsen internal software as well as project using external platform of the major player in Business Intelligence environment.



Principal Duties and responsibilities:


  • Participate in the enhancement of the delivery process while advising Nielsen contact on best operating solution (ie. semi-flexible report base…) to reach high efficiency.

  • Translate client needs into a business scope (client understandable) and into a Functional Specification document that report developers, deployment teams and technical leads use to set up front end solutions;

  • Provide cost and time-to-market from needs evaluation to commercial team as basis for negotiation;

  • Speak to different audiences both internally (Commercial teams, Solution Owners,  Developers, Client Service, Project Management, Client Liaisons etc.) and externally (Client at local level, 3rd party agencies) to ensure a common understanding of needs and a smooth service delivery;

  • Ensure the final implementation keeping an end to end approach.







Role requirements:


  • You have a client facing experience

  • You have strong business analysis/reporting skills (market research, industry knowledge)

  • You are  a self-motivated individual able to constructively and proactively communicate and work with large range of audience (internal, client, offshore…) to propose and deliver the best solution for the client, resolve problems and ensure clarity and quality.

  • You have a proven pre/post sign-off client management and organisational skills with specific experience of assessing client requirements and devising optimal solutions

  • You have an excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills where a fluent English is a must.

  • You are a fast learner to be quickly up to speed with Nielsen Data and Nielsen Internal BI tools

  • You have a background on the main Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms (example: Microstrategy, Tableau, Qlikview, TIBCO), reference: Gartner’s BI Magic Quadrant
